SISTERS HOSPITALLERS OF THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS
…following the footsteps of the Good Samaritan…
We are consecrated women, in and for the Church.
Being a Sister Hospitaller builds on the profound experience of BEING a woman summoned and consecrated by God to follow Jesus Christ, the Good Samaritan.
We live in spiritual maternity, which makes us givers of life and of hope, especially in the world of suffering.
We are sent to serve those who suffer; especially those suffering from mental illness, intellectual disability, and mental handicapped especially the poor, by embracing them and providing holistic & specialised care.
We are happy in our calling and are moved to share this happiness that others may experience the same charism in the Church.
Following the example of Mary, Our Mother, the First Hospitaller & Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, She “teaches us to discover the needs of others, even when they do not disclose them.”
We practice HOSPITALITY, our Charism, and the value that defines us: Sensitivity for the excluded, Service to the sick and needy, Liberating welcoming, Holistic health, Professional quality, Humanity in care, Respect of ethical standards & Historical awareness.
COME JOIN US IN CONTINUING THE SALVIFIC MISSION OF JESUS THE GOOD SAMARITAN IN THE PRACTICE OF HOSPITALITY!
OUR MISSION:
Incarnates and expresses the charism of Hospitality. It does so by WELCOMING, ASSISTING and PROVIDING specialized and preferential care for the MENTALLY CHALLENGED, the PHYSICALLY and PSYCHOLOGICALLY disabled and other sick persons, considering the needs and urgent requirements of each time and place, with preference for the poor and disenfranchised.
Our Values:
